we've had another set back

 We thought we would be able to film this Friday. This was perfect as my practice would end early and we could film after. This also worked as it didn't conflict with Lola's soccer practice. Sam also had nothing to do at the time which made it perfect. The only problem is that now i have a game scheduled for Friday. We originally had only a game for Thursday. this game ended up being canceled. this lead to us needing an extra game to fill that gap in the schedule. Our coach ended up looking for another game to fill that spot. This ended up being scheduled for Friday at 6 pm. This means we'll have to reschedule our filming time. We would film after school on Thursday but Lola's practice is getting in the way as it would be at night starting as my practice ended. We're looking for an opportunity to film this weekend that isn't Friday. This is kind of hard with all the activities we do on the weekends as well. Saturday may be possible but i have practice in the morning and Lola has work at night so it would have to be midday. This gives us a smaller window to see if we can film. We are looking at this part of the day. Sam has yet to respond on the situation. Once we hear from her we will be able to decide. This is the only thing holding us back from planning our filming for Saturday. So we will see.

 The video "How to make a short film" by film riot will act as a helpful tool. This video gives our group a good sense of what well need to do in creating our short film. Most of this is in the preparation and setup that allows the story to come through within the short amount of time. It says not to write something that wont fit the resources that are available to us. Our short film should be written having in mind the actors as well as the access to equipment we have. Production delay

 Our group has made plans to film in the future as we experienced some scheduling setbacks. The last few weeks have been difficult as we have had less face to face time to make plans for our production. There has been religious holidays as well as unexpected early release days. The main scheduling conflicts lies in the hurricane that hit Florida last week. The hurricanes impact on Florida left us without school and personally left me without access to power during parts of those days. The hurricane made my parents more vigilant over my movement outside of the home which made it nearly impossible to meet up. We had no choice but to wait for another opportunity. The weekend came and went and we had yet to communicate on a day to meet. We met during our class this week and decided to meet in the near future. The timing didn't align for us with our afterschool activities so we could not meet up during the week.
