After all the disasters that have happened leading up to our filming. And with the constant rescheduling due to Brianna. We have finally been able to film. There were many hiccups along the way but, the process has been fun. The project is finally starting to come together. I'm really excited to see the finished product. When filming due to Randy's absence, I became one of the main actors. Randy was now tasked with the bulk of the editing to make up for his lack of contribution in filming. Randy has started to work on the bulk of the editing while Sean helped with smaller parts. Brianna and I worked as advisers to the editing and helped make it look seamless. One problem with the video is the actual story lining up. During the editing we realized some shots don't make sense in the video. We ended up taking some shots out. Our group has made plans to film in the future as we experienced some scheduling setbacks. The last few weeks have been difficult as we have had less face to face time to make plans for our production. There has been religious holidays as well as unexpected early release days. The main scheduling conflicts lies in the hurricane that hit Florida last week. The hurricanes impact on Florida left us without school and personally left me without access to power during parts of those days. The hurricane made my parents more vigilant over my movement outside of the home which made it nearly impossible to meet up. We had no choice but to wait for another opportunity. The weekend came and went and we had yet to communicate on a day to meet. We met during our class this week and decided to meet in the near future. The timing didn't align for us with our afterschool activities so we could not meet up during the week. While talking over the plan to meetup one of our members said they wor...
after last time we are hopeful to film some time this weekend. We have to talk with the group and make sure this weekend works for everybody's schedule. I have practice everyday. Sam has other extracurriculars. Lola has club soccer after school. The three of us all have activities that may take up time after school and can get in the way of our filming schedule. We are hoping to be ab le to film his Friday as I only have practice and the other two will be able to film on that day as well. we are likely to film the shots of the crash and other shots needed in the house. The other shots that need to be filmed may be filmed another day. This depends on the amount of time we have. Filming a car crash scene with minimal equipment requires careful planning and creative thinking. First, we need to consider using practical effects and camera angles to create the illusion of a crash without the need for expensive props or special effects. Utilize simple props such as cardboard cutout...
