Race against time

 As the time comes to start our filming things seem to not be going our way. For the time being Filming has been put on hold. Each of our members has things that is keeping them from being able to film. For this weekend we where going to film but things came up. Sean and Brianna have work and are unable to get out of it. Brianna works all day and as she just started at her new job its hard for her to get time off. The start of her new job means she has to train and get used to her position. She also has to make sure that she's serious about her job. This means she doesn't want to miss much so she looks professional. Sean has two jobs one of which is only on weekends. This means that its hard for him to miss as well as he is only scheduled for weekends. This makes it hard for us to schedule filming because he works those days. For me I have Baseball 6 days a week including Saturdays. This makes it even harder to schedule because all three of the group members has things that make it hard to schedule filming on weekends. The difficulties scheduling are increasing and deadlines are closing in. As the deadlines close in I'm becoming increasingly worried about filming. Some of the scenes we need don't require actors, so Sean should be able to get them by himself. As for the rest of the filming I'm sure we will be able to get together soon. I hope were able to film some during spring break. Regardless I will make sure. we complete the filming in time.

 The video "How to make a short film" by film riot will act as a helpful tool. This video gives our group a good sense of what well need to do in creating our short film. Most of this is in the preparation and setup that allows the story to come through within the short amount of time. It says not to write something that wont fit the resources that are available to us. Our short film should be written having in mind the actors as well as the access to equipment we have. Production delay

 Our group has made plans to film in the future as we experienced some scheduling setbacks. The last few weeks have been difficult as we have had less face to face time to make plans for our production. There has been religious holidays as well as unexpected early release days. The main scheduling conflicts lies in the hurricane that hit Florida last week. The hurricanes impact on Florida left us without school and personally left me without access to power during parts of those days. The hurricane made my parents more vigilant over my movement outside of the home which made it nearly impossible to meet up. We had no choice but to wait for another opportunity. The weekend came and went and we had yet to communicate on a day to meet. We met during our class this week and decided to meet in the near future. The timing didn't align for us with our afterschool activities so we could not meet up during the week.
