Spring break

 Time is still closing in on filming. Our time to crunch is still coming. This past weekend we were still unable to film anything as Sean and Brianna had to work. I also had practice and was busy Sunday as well. The upcoming weeks are going to be tough. Spring break is next week so we may be able to get some of the filming done. The only problem is I'm going to be gone for half the week. I'm going to Key west with some of my friends and staying at one of their houses. This makes it really hard for us to film as I'm one of the main actors in the film. While I'm not able to make it Sean should be able to get the shots that don't require my attendance. Any of the shots of the desolate landscape or lack of people can be done without my participation. I hope during spring break most of the non-acting parts are done whether I'm able to be there or not. With the coming of deadlines hastily approaching, the need for us to finally make progress is needed. The scheduling issues we keep having are the only thing holding us back. Sean lives pretty close to me so if scheduling permits we can get some of the shots done. The problem is Brianna lives kind of far from us and it makes it hard for us to meet up and film. With the distance between us and their jobs filming is increasingly difficult. Come spring break I hope to be able to get our filming mostly done. The time is closing in on us and this is a good chance to get it done. Spring break will allow us to get some of the much needed filming done.

 The video "How to make a short film" by film riot will act as a helpful tool. This video gives our group a good sense of what well need to do in creating our short film. Most of this is in the preparation and setup that allows the story to come through within the short amount of time. It says not to write something that wont fit the resources that are available to us. Our short film should be written having in mind the actors as well as the access to equipment we have. Production delay

 Our group has made plans to film in the future as we experienced some scheduling setbacks. The last few weeks have been difficult as we have had less face to face time to make plans for our production. There has been religious holidays as well as unexpected early release days. The main scheduling conflicts lies in the hurricane that hit Florida last week. The hurricanes impact on Florida left us without school and personally left me without access to power during parts of those days. The hurricane made my parents more vigilant over my movement outside of the home which made it nearly impossible to meet up. We had no choice but to wait for another opportunity. The weekend came and went and we had yet to communicate on a day to meet. We met during our class this week and decided to meet in the near future. The timing didn't align for us with our afterschool activities so we could not meet up during the week.
