Quarantine time

Hello and welcome back to my blog! Today, I am going to tell you a problem my group faced. We specifically faced this problem when trying to film. This weekend Brianna went to a wedding. She told us she had a lot of fun. I'm happy she enjoyed herself.  But, while she had fun it led to problems. Unfortunately, her dad caught covid. She told us he most likely caught the virus at the wedding. This puts us way behind. It specifically put us behind on our schedule for filming. It out us behind because we were supposed to film this weekend. We were all supposed to go to the fair while it was still popular so we can get a lot of background actors. I'm not sure what time we'll be able to reschedule. Hopefully, it's soon. I really hope for a speedy recovery. But, Brianna suggested that we also get tested because she was around us after the wedding. So I told my mom and we got an at home covid test. I took it and then we waited for the results about 30 minutes later. The test came back as negative and I had a feeling it would be negative because I didn't really feel any sickness.  The video "How to make a short film" by film riot will act as a helpful tool. This video gives our group a good sense of what well need to do in creating our short film. Most of this is in the preparation and setup that allows the story to come through within the short amount of time. It says not to write something that wont fit the resources that are available to us. Our short film should be written having in mind the actors as well as the access to equipment we have. Production delay

 Our group has made plans to film in the future as we experienced some scheduling setbacks. The last few weeks have been difficult as we have had less face to face time to make plans for our production. There has been religious holidays as well as unexpected early release days. The main scheduling conflicts lies in the hurricane that hit Florida last week. The hurricanes impact on Florida left us without school and personally left me without access to power during parts of those days. The hurricane made my parents more vigilant over my movement outside of the home which made it nearly impossible to meet up. We had no choice but to wait for another opportunity. The weekend came and went and we had yet to communicate on a day to meet. We met during our class this week and decided to meet in the near future. The timing didn't align for us with our afterschool activities so we could not meet up during the week.
