As Sean and I were the ones to film we were to direct the editing process. Brianna was set to edit as she had to do something in our group. Her absence from filming meant we had to change many of the shots to fit only one actor. I played the role and filled in for Brianna who was meant to be the lead. When she went to edit Sean and I had to tell her what it was supposed to look like all together. We told her the music we were going to use as well as the place it was meant to start in the video. We were able to email the owners of the music for the rights to use it and found out it was not substance to licensing. We were able to get it and so we put it over the sequence of many shots. It starts after the main character gets up from bed and realizes he is late. As it goes on the character looks confused and searches the house for others. All of this is happening as he continues his morning routine. The editing will piece together these shots with the different title sequence parts. ...
After the trouble we’ve had in planning out our filming we finally are able to. Yesterday we agreed to film today. We were able to get many shots done. This includes the main shot of the car crash and some other shots. To do this we had to make the shot look as if we actually crashed the car. To try and show this we will be doing cutaway scenes and sound effects to account for the lack of actual crash. Obviously we will have to add the sound in during editing. This will be done after we have completed all of the filming for the film. As of now we have most of the shots done. This was a successful day of filming. We first went to shoot the crash. We filmed the crash scene. Then we went to get food somewhere as a break. We enjoyed our food there. Then we went back to Lola’s. After we got to Lola’s we looked at the footage. While looking at the footage some of the sound quality was bad. This led us to wanting to reshoot some shots. Then we looked over the film again. This time we wer...
The filming for our commercial went well. We encountered some minor problems like timing issues, weather, and curfews but all in all it went well. The issues we saw could have been avoided so next time well think more ahead to keep these from happening. After our filming done by our member Sean he sent the raw filming to our other member Brianna who was to be our editor. The acting was done by our members randy and I. Once sent to Brianna she was to condense the raw material into the final product. She also added background music as the wind that day was loud and could be heard in the background. Next she made sure that the sound of the coke opening was crisp. This was done because in our research we found that many coke commercials and soda commercials in general have the crisp sound of the can opening added. This makes the drink seem refreshing and is a staple. last she added a fade-in to the coke logo as it was being drank. This finished off the last part of our commercial and ...
