Back from vacation

 Today was the day I left Key west. I was there for four days. I had a lot of fun with my friends and was able to explore the island. My friend owns a house there so he knows his way around and directed us to some places. We rode bikes around the island and saw the sunset. We made Arepas for breakfast and had some great food. The days felt short but a lot of fun was had. I couldn't have asked for a better experience there. I'm indebted to my friend who invited me and looking forward to going next year if possible. It was only four days but we were able to do a lot. We made most of the time we had and got closer in that time. Today I got back from the trip. It was a long 4 hour car ride and I'm pretty tired. Sean said he works Friday an Saturday so Sunday or Monday would be optimal for both of us. We'll see how we are able to do when the time comes. Time is running out but we still can make it out. Sean and I will communicate and see what time works for both of us. Brianna is still unable to come so she will be taking up some of the editing duties. so the acting and filming will be up to Sean and I. Hopefully we'll make it happen this Sunday.

 The video "How to make a short film" by film riot will act as a helpful tool. This video gives our group a good sense of what well need to do in creating our short film. Most of this is in the preparation and setup that allows the story to come through within the short amount of time. It says not to write something that wont fit the resources that are available to us. Our short film should be written having in mind the actors as well as the access to equipment we have. We would not be able to perform huge cgi shots or anything from the sky as we don't have the equipment for it and we should plan accordingly. Production delay

 Our group has made plans to film in the future as we experienced some scheduling setbacks. The last few weeks have been difficult as we have had less face to face time to make plans for our production. There has been religious holidays as well as unexpected early release days. The main scheduling conflicts lies in the hurricane that hit Florida last week. The hurricanes impact on Florida left us without school and personally left me without access to power during parts of those days. The hurricane made my parents more vigilant over my movement outside of the home which made it nearly impossible to meet up. We had no choice but to wait for another opportunity. The weekend came and went and we had yet to communicate on a day to meet. We met during our class this week and decided to meet in the near future. The timing didn't align for us with our afterschool activities so we could not meet up during the week.
